On Linda's frigate, in the hanger... Shadow is fixing Zore left arm. Shadow yawns. Shadow: Wow, what time is it? Zore: It is 3:00 am, earth time sir. Shadow: I guess I should get some re... Suddenly, Shadow jerks his head, looking out side the hanger. Shadow: Zore! Zore: It there sir. Your home planet. Shadow turns to Zore. Shadow: We are leaving. Zore: But what about Linda? Shadow starts to remember that day, the day Linda's and Shadow's friendship grew. Shadow pulls out a disc. 5 minutes later.... Shadow jumps into Zore. Shadow: Here we go. Zore jumps out of the hanger into space. The only thing left of Shadow is a disc, with a message for Linda inside.

The ship and came out of slip-space a long time ago by way of a randomized location. Linda had no idea where they were, but she liked it that way. She got up from her place on the bridge and went to the hangar to talk to Shadow. When she walked in she froze in place. She looked around and saw no sign of Zore. That only meant one thing. She went over to the exit hatch and checked to see when it had last been opened. It read 3:14. 3 minutes 14 seconds ago. Her knees wavered and gave out. She fell to the floor on her knees, just staring into space. Her hands fell limply to her sides. She felt one of her hands land on something. She looked down, still not processing what had happened. She picked up the disc that was lying on the floor. She looked at it, and something in her brain snapped. She stood up and ran to her Spartan helmet and put it on. She was not thinking conciously. Her mind had not processed anything. But she was acting instinctevely. Some part of her knew what to do, so she did it. She put the disc into the slot in her helmet and waited for the message to play.

Forward to message->> Shadow appears. Shadow: Hello Linda. As you can see, I am gone. Before I can be on your ship, I need to deal with my past. And that is why I am going to My home planet Kornator. I know how it has changed but this is something I must do. If you wish to follow me, the planet's location is on this disc. Linda, please don't take this the wrong. It is the only way I can stay with... you. I hope to see you again, Linda. ->>X End of message.

Linda removed her helmet and waited for her mind to process everything. When it finally had, she almost half-smiled at the familiarity of the situation. Here we go again, she thought to herself, Off on another one of your crazy adventures. She went back the bridge, where she handed the disc to the navigations. The man just looked at her. "There's a location on that disc. Take us to it." She said. The man nodded and they began their new course straight for the planets surface.

Moments ago, in planet orbit... Shadow: Here we are. Kornator. It has changed alot. You know where to go. Zore: You don't mean. Shadow: Yes, the old Giga Building Area. Zore flys down into the blizzard and disappears. Present time...

The Frigate landed on the island that the disc had given as the coordinates. The Frigate opened and Linda decided it would be smart to be on the safe side. They brought out the Tanks and Hogs. Shadow's little sidetrips have been dangerous thusfar, and she wasn't expecting this little pattern to change anytime soon. She herself got into the passenger seat of a Hog with her Sniper Rifle handy as they started to explore the unkown planet.

The long path to the Giga Building Area is hard one. The blizzard howls as it gets worse. At the end of the path, a large building stands. Frozen from the years of nonstop blizzards, making it this into a dark site to be hold.

Linda considered this for a moment, but then took out an Assault Rifle. "I guess today is a good day to learn," she said. She jumped out of the car and started her way into the building, her trainees and fellow soldiers right behind her.

Inside... A large room with two doors on each side. The one on the right side, on top of the door reads: Terminal Room. On the ground, the sight of destroyed sentinels and old robot makes the room a dark, cold place.

Linda you and your trainees take the left door I will take the right. Don't argue if there is tubal in there I won't be able to fight to the best of my ability if I have to protect you and your trainees. I don't want a repeat of the last time Shadow went on one of his little adventures. Tim shuddered at the thought of the Flood killing all the men Linda left him in charge of. "I just cant have that happen again" Tim said. If one of us has to die it is better if it is me that does not return from this you have to live your men are counting on you. With that Tim sprinted into room labeled Terminal Room and hit a button that shut the door and locked it from the inside.

In the Terminal Room... A chilling fog lies on the floor while 5 terminals placed on each sides of the room. In the far back of the room two terminals really stand out. One marked "Holomap" and the other... "Project Shadow".

Tim cautiously walked over to the terminal marked Project Shadow, shotgun raised ready to kill anything that might try and attack him. He terned on his helmet cam. in case he did die and some one found his corps they would know what they were up against. Tim reached the terminal and hit the play button...

The screen turns on... On the screen it says this is secret information. It then asks for the user name and the password.

"Great just what I need" Tim said. He started to searching the room for anything that might give him a hint to what the password is. Just then he heard some say "quit an amazing place isn't it". Tim terned and razed his shotgun out of the shadows came a ball.

Iblecon sat down in his cell next to Bareus, though he had been laying down in his own separate cell ever since they were set back in. Iblecon scooted closer to his cell, "Bareus. If you can hear me, then you probably know that we still have to find a way out of here before they do something to us. Oh god, I just hope your still alive. You haven't moved a muscle ever since we were returned to these hell cages.". Iblecon layed down with his back lying on the cell wall, and he fell asleep.
*He was having a dream. He was in a vast battlefield with his old squad and Bareus was giving commands. He saw their enemies coming towards them, but were picked off easily. He instantly noticed a squad of marines flanking their own squad. Iblecon watched as a portion of his squad was wiped out, and then they came and silenced Bareus. They came closer to him and they unloaded on him with their magnums.*
Iblecon woke up screaming, and then realized it was only a dream. All he could do was cry; both in relief and misery.

"God dam" Tim said you scared the hell out of me. Dam monitors he thought. The monitor apologized for startling Tim and then saw that he had activated one of the terminals. It said "quit an interesting specimen isn't he". "What" said Tim then he realized the monitor was referring to Shadow. I wouldn't know I need a pass word to axes it. Perhaps I could be of some assistants. The monitor flew over to the terminal and entered the pass word. Tim walked over to it with his shotgun still raised in case the monitor tried to attack him. He then saw that the monitor was not trying to kill him and he relaxed a bit. He looked at the terminal and saw it was a video log. He hit the play button and it started to play...

The screen shows the forerunner symbol on the bottom left. The screen then lights up and shows a old looking man. The old man starts to speak. OM: It has been five year since the flood have been discovered. With this problem growing, we have to found a solution. Just yesterday we have made one of our newest battle unit. We call it a Giga. The problem is that all of our pilots can't even move it. But we came up this break through. If none of our pilots can work it, we need to make the perfect warrior that can pilot this Giga. We have nicknamed this project "Project Shadow". In the mean time, we could improve some of our other units to Giga stats. End Transmission... 213: I am sorry, but the rest of the records appear to have been moved.

213: I really can't say. There are several information areas around this base. Why not go look around if you are so interested in "Project Shadow".

He called her over the com and said he found sum thing she might want to see. He toled her to meat him outside the Terminal Room. He terned off his helmet cam and terned to meat Linda outside.

Tim walked back to where he had Linda only to find that she hadn't moved at all. "I thought I told you to take the left door with your trainees!" he asked her. "I told them to go without me," she replied. "I don't take orders from my trainees." Tim was about to protest, but then thought better of it. Instead, he quickly explained everything he saw. Linda suddenly became serious. "Show me," she ordered. She wanted to see this for herself. Tim lead her into the terminal room.

Linda's brows furrowed. This new information perked her interest, but it was not enough to explain anything. "Is there anymore to this?" she asked Tim.
"In other information areas around the base, according to the monitor," he answered.
She sighed. "Alright let's go," she said. "The others can hold their own. As far as you're concerned, you're new orders are to stick with me."
They headed off to go find more information on "Project Shadow"

The monitor hovers to Linda. 213: A information area is a floor below you. The monitor flys to a door. The door opens up, reveling a elevator. 213: Please this way. The monitor flys in to the elevator.
